NetTest, a global provider of operational support solutions for advanced and converged networks, today announced new enhancements to its MasterQuest VoIP monitoring solution, the most complete service assurance system for voice-over-IP (VoIP) networks. The new version provides monitoring of VoIP customer terminals and access points, enabling service providers to more efficiently deploy VoIP for enterprise customers.

NetTest also signed its first MasterQuest VoIP solution customer contract from a North American Tier One operator. The operator will be using MasterQuest VoIP for monitoring VoIP-based long distance bypass, which provides tremendous cost savings compared to using traditional long distance transport bandwidth.
