VoIPMDU.COM is now marketing Yak's softphone, which is a real time virtual video telephone, through its www.voipmdu.com, www.liveplayonline.com and www.platinumphone.com websites to subscribers who sign up directly through the Yak icon now displayed on these sites. Users will be able to make and receive calls over their high speed Internet connection from their PC's or MAC's without the requirement of a standard analogue telephone. Subscribers to YakCommunity may upgrade their services to include connections to PSTN's (regular analogue telephones) for $20.00 per month for North American services. Other upgrades using an ATA (analogue telephone adaptor) will provide international services and discounted long distance rates at $24.00 per month.
