Verso Technologies, Inc., a global provider of next generation network solutions, announced that it will exhibit at Booth C310 at VON Europe in Stockholm, Sweden from May 15 through May 18, 2006 at Stockholm International Fairs.
VON Europe is the definitive event for Europe's IP communications industry, drawing major industry participants from the fixed, wireless and broadband sectors. The large and diverse audience makes the venue an ideal one for Verso to feature its widening portfolio of solutions including its MetroNet VoIP Overlay Solution, a turnkey, next generation network (NGN) offering for metropolitan market deployments that enables key services and features for enterprise and residential VoBB subscribers.
The integrated, next generation offering packages endpoint (Class-5) and tandem (Class-4) switching technologies through Verso's industry leading Clarent(R) softswitch and application platform. The MetroNet VoIP Overlay solution can be deployed into virtually any metropolitan market over any broadband medium including cable, DSL, wireless, fiber, satellite, and microwave.
Also featured will be Verso's leading NetPerformer product, which provides bandwidth optimization and improves quality of service (QoS) in a variety of converged network settings. A strategic niche for the NetPerformer product is the GSM backhaul market. The NetPerformer GSM Backhaul solution minimizes network infrastructure cost between cell towers, base station controllers, and mobile switching centers. The solution leverages Verso's NetPerformer SDM-9220 and SDM-9230 platforms to optimize bandwidth utilization on all types of GSM network interfaces including A.bis, A.ter, A, and E, requiring fewer lines or satellite/microwave links.
Verso representatives will also provide information on Verso's I-Master(R) Solution, a multi-service real-time authentication platform that increases revenue and customer loyalty. Transforming the traditional prepaid calling account into an access portal for messaging, conferencing, Internet access and on-demand information services, I-Master also allows service providers to manage complex rating schemes and support foreign currencies.
Finally, Verso will present its evolving Softswitch solutions, which have recently secured Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) compliance. Included within the softswitch family, Verso will present its IPCentrex solution, a "facility-less" hosted PBX offering that extends the features and functions of Verso's Class 5 Call Manager.
"The VON Europe show is always the source for innovations in fixed and wireless convergence, and enterprise IP communications networks," said Yves Desmet, senior vice president, Worldwide Sales, Verso Technologies. "It is an excellent opportunity for Verso to showcase its evolving portfolio, particularly the MetroNet VoIP Solution, which is helping providers around the region quickly and effectively launch competitive NGN services."
