IPtimize, Inc., a Managed VoIP (Voice-over-IP) Solutions Provider, announced a new joint venture agreement with
Armitage Marketing, Inc., a 10-year-old marketing and consulting company.
Under terms of the JV agreement, IPtimize will design and deploy a 100-seat hosted VoIP call center, to be located in Omaha, Nebraska. The hosted VoIP solution means Armitage will have the portability to expand its operation rapidly and meet its clients' expectations, while minimizing operating expenses.
Armitage also will become an agent for IPtimize, selling its hosted VoIP solutions portfolio to small- and medium-sized businesses. IPtimize's go-to-market strategy is designed to support agents in selected vertical markets.
"We look forward to working with IPtimize, with its extensive knowledge of VoIP and hosted call center applications," said Edward R. Taylor, CEO and President of Armitage and a recognized leader in the industry. Taylor formerly was a senior executive at SITEL, a leading global provider of outsourced customer support services.
"We welcome Armitage as an agent partner to market our Voice Pilot VoIP service," said IPtimize President Clint Wilson. "And we see a substantial market opportunity in call centers returning to the U.S. by leveraging the substantial costs savings of hosted VoIP."
