AT&T Inc. announced that Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC)'s Communications Solutions online magazine (
http://www.tmcnet.com/comsol) has named AT&T BusinessDirect and AT&T Dynamic Network Applications as recipients of a 2005 Product of the Year Award.
AT&T BusinessDirect allows customers to collaborate with a service representative over a secure Internet connection directly from within the AT&T BusinessDirect portal interface. This click-to-chat functionality gives users service support in context, which is customized to meet their needs, when they need it. AT&T customers can combine service-management and support-reporting tools onto a single, secure extranet site that provides users with increased visibility and cost control over their network performance and investments.
AT&T Dynamic Network Applications (DNA) is an integrated portfolio of Internet Protocol (IP) services that support the next generation of business communications -- from voice to conferencing, messaging and beyond. The first service available in the portfolio was AT&T Voice DNA, a network-based voice over IP (VoIP) service. The AT&T DNA portfolio leverages the company's software-driven global MPLS network and its IP VPN services, that help customers converge their data and voice applications on the same reliable, secure, high-performing and scalable network infrastructure. This networking foundation enhances the capabilities delivered by AT&T Voice DNA and enhances business productivity by making it easier for employees, suppliers and partners to collaborate.
"We are thrilled and honored to be recognized for our AT&T BusinessDirect and DNA services that we provide to our customers," said Bob
Sloan, vice president of eSales and Service. "At AT&T, we continue to leverage our technology expertise to provide our customers around the world with the highest-quality service and support possible."
"Each year, Communications Solutions magazine bestows Product of the Year Awards on companies that have demonstrated excellence in technological advancement and application refinements. AT&T has demonstrated to the editors of Communications Solutions that its products or services have gone the extra mile to help improve both the customer experience and the ROI for the companies that use them," said Rich Tehrani, TMC president and group editor in chief of Communications Solutions.
The winners of the 2005 Product of the Year Award appeared in the May 2005 online issue of Communications Solutions magazine (
