Speakeasy has launched ONE, a plan which eliminates upfront phone, equipment and installation costs for its fast-growing business Voice over IP service. With the introduction of ONE, Speakeasy is the first nationwide provider to remove the initial voice and data equipment and installation costs so that small and medium business subscribers can easily access the power, productivity and cost benefits of Internet-based communications.
"Speakeasy ONE eliminates the initial voice and data implementation and equipment costs, thereby creating a simple and predictable broadband and voice plan for businesses. One of the key benefits of Hosted VoIP is that you don't have to buy a PBX or key system and small business customers asked us to extend this benefit to all up-front costs, including phone equipment," said Bruce Chatterley, Speakeasy's CEO. "ONE is an easy choice for SMBs when compared to expensive PBX options or antiquated local phone service -- it gives them complete control over their telecom systems."
"Speakeasy has had great success with its VoIP service and there is still quite a bit of opportunity in the small and medium business market," notes David Lemelin, In-Stat Senior Analyst. "Their new ONE option is compelling and should make the decision even simpler for businesses weighing the option of a hosted VoIP solution."
Speakeasy ONE is similar to the early push by cellular companies in the 1990s to minimize customer phone costs, which revolutionized the industry and helped contribute to a rapid consumer adoption. By eliminating the financial obstacle of thousands of dollars of equipment and installation costs, Speakeasy Business VoIP customers can reduce their telecom costs and increase productivity with:
-- Approximately $4,600 in VoIP start-up phone and equipment savings, including free installation. ONE's savings projections are based on a two-year agreement with a minimum of 10 subscribers at each service location.
-- A bundled T1 connection plus digital VoIP phones with a simple, flat monthly rate, including unlimited calling to 48 states and 22 countries.
-- One consolidated and predictable bill for all voice and data services.
-- Advanced IP calling features such as click-to-dial contacts with Microsoft Outlook and voicemail-to-email.
-- A single, U.S.-based support representative to handle ALL business and technical questions.
