More than 130 cool companies with hot products are set to forecast the future of business, consumer, lifestyle and digital technologies for work, home and play to reporters and industry analysts pre-registered to attend the first ShowStoppers press event of 2007.
ShowStoppers at CES 2007 takes place Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, 6-10 p.m. at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada -- immediately after the exhibit floor closes on the first day of the massive Consumer Electronics Show.
Nearly 1,400 reporters, editors, columnists, industry analysts and selected investment firms are signed up to attend, setting a new record for the invitation-only, private event.
"I don't schedule interviews. I do ShowStoppers," said Dick DeBartolo, "the Giz Wiz," ABC World News Now.
"ShowStoppers @ CES 2007 kicks off the new year with product debuts and sneak previews by companies you know, companies that reporters have not yet discovered, and discoveries outside the usual newsbeats," said Steve Leon, partner, ShowStoppers.
"This year's event also introduces the Startup Pavilion, focused on 11 new companies and emerging technologies that will debut at ShowStoppers," said Leon.
