Bluesocket has accelerated both new customer acquisitions and follow-on sales to existing customers, strengthening a customer base that spans several key vertical markets including education, enterprise, healthcare, hospitality and government. Several new customers have purchased both wireless infrastructure and VoIP solutions from Bluesocket, taking advantage of the converged mobility and unified communications strategy the company is executing since its acquisition of Pingtel.
The majority of Bluesocket’s WLAN customer transactions now include both its BlueSecure Controllers and BlueSecure Access Points. Driving the company’s complete mobility solution sales are features such as end-to-end application Quality of service support; a full-featured stateful-inspection layer-3 firewall; robust role-based authentication; and integrated guest access and credit card billing. Additionally, Bluesocket is currently the only vendor with second generation multiple-input, multiple-output technology.
