TMC has once again teamed up with Fonality to host several trixbox Open Communication Certification Courses at its upcoming INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO at the Miami Beach Convention Center on January 23-25, 2008. Registration is now open at www.itexpo.com.

Attendees can sign up for FtOCC Admin, which prepares people to sell and install trixbox, or FtOCC Technician which focuses on trixbox support and troubleshooting. Both courses are part of the Fonality trixbox Open Communication Certification series.

The courses will serve as trixbox Pro certification for resellers, integrator and developers, and attendees who successfully complete the training will receive a free demo kit, as well as product and services discounts that will allow them to recoup the cost of the training.

trixbox Pro is a hybrid-hosted phone system, meaning the IP-PBX and application software is downloaded to the customer site and installed on a centralized PC that connects out to the Fonality network where system health, availability, call quality and usage are constantly monitored. The free hosting service that is part of trixbox Pro allows employees to take their work phone number with them when they leave the office, and have calls ring through to their mobile phone or PC.
