BroadSoft announces that
Samsung Networks will expand its deployment of hosted voice services on BroadSoft's BroadWorks VoIP application platform. Samsung Networks delivers the services to large enterprises in South Korea.
Samsung Networks has already successfully deployed 200,000 Hosted PBX seats on the BroadWorks platform, making SNI one of the world's leading IP telephony service providers to large enterprises. Now, the company will introduce more VoIP services offerings, including BroadWorks Business Trunking, a SIPconnect-compliant solution that extends advanced calling features to enterprises using the customers' existing telephone facilities and equipment.
Samsung Network's hosted and trunking voice services include advanced calling features, such as fixed-mobile convergence functionality with Simultaneous Ring and Remote Office, which makes any phone -- such as home or mobile -- a user's office phone.
"Samsung Networks has aggressively rolled out voice services to South Korea's large enterprises, making it one of the largest Hosted PBX carriers for business," said Michael Tessler, president and CEO of BroadSoft. "Samsung Networks's success serves as a case study for carriers around the globe on how to package and sell the inherent value of Hosted PBX to large enterprises."
