Annecto has chosen
DIGITALK to be its new platform provider for wholesale services after an extensive competitive review. Annecto has selected DIGITALK’s
SBC VoIP Peering application - a highly scalable and robust, end-to-end solution for international VoIP wholesale services, based on DIGITALK’s Session Border Controller.
The migration to the DIGITALK SBC VoIP Peering solution allows Annecto to perform least-cost, quality and margin-based routing to support both superior service levels and operational profitability.
A critical element of the solution, and a major part of the selection rationale, is the integral software-based transcoding that expands the carrier routing options available while eliminating the need for third party integration, a distinct advantage over alternative solutions.
In addition to significant solution enhancements, it was DIGITALK’s comprehensive 24/7 support and commitment to its development programme that were the over-riding reasons for change.
Mr Vj Odedra, Annecto CEO, said “Annecto prides itself on using leading technology to guarantee a first class service and it was essential we went with proven technology. We really like DIGITALK’s overall ethos and simplicity of the concept – being plug and play, everything in one place, a direct support team, and a development future already mapped out. Everything has been well though out to suit the needs of the operator and its customers. It is a perfect fit.”
Mr Odedra also commended the VoIP Peering Manager, DIGITALK web management interface, saying “Its slick – the Apple of the industry – a good-looking, user-friendly, straight forward application to manage.”
Justin Norris DIGITALK’s CEO said “Not only do we address the squeeze on margins from the relentless market change with our advanced functionality, but we’ve also introduced a set of intuitive and powerful management features in a single user interface. We’re confident we’ve cured a few headaches in one go and provide our customers with the tools to have a very powerful operation.”
