Digium releases the TCE400B PCI Express card for use with voice applications based on the open source Asterisk telephony platform. The new card provides hardware-based voice compression and decompression (codec) capabilities to shift transcoding from software to hardware. What: This year's program consists of two tracks in two lecture halls. One track focuses on the basic installation and configuration of Asterisk. The FBI has identified a new technique used to conduct vishing attacks where hackers exploit a known security vulnerability in Asterisk software.
