ASI Entertainment Inc.'s, wholly owned Australian subsidiary, ASiQ Pty Ltd, demonstrated the prototype of its patented in-flight cell phone alternative called "Safecell" at the World Airlines Entertainment Association (WAEA) Convention and Exhibition in Miami last week.
Ron Chapman, ASiQ's CEO stated, "The response at the show was overwhelming; every appointment slot was booked out. Over 30 airlines plus three aircraft manufacturers, Airbus, Boeing and Embrear visited our booth to see our latest in-flight internet connectivity solutions. While our low cost internet service certainly got the attention of international airlines, the demonstration of the new Safecell system was the highlight.
