MediaRing Launches New Global Mobile VoIP Service
MediaRing
introduces its new MediaRing MobileVoIP, a service that offers free unlimited mobile calls amongst its users when connected to the Internet through a WiFi network. MobileVoIP users also enjoy very attractive low rates when calling any fixed-line, mobile contacts not enrolled with the service and/or connected to Internet. The service leverages on MediaRing’s extensive and highly robust Global IP Network.
MediaRing MobileVoIP is available on SIP enabled phones with WiFi capability. These phones currently include the Nokia E & N series phones.
Smart dialing capabilities enhancing user experience
MediaRing MobileVoIP allows users to retain their existing mobile phone number, enabling them to call each other without the need to key in any special access codes. The service’s smart dialing capability assures that no additional steps are required after Internet connectivity has been established. In doing so, it is just like making a regular mobile call. The same applies when the user makes a call to a fixed-line or other contacts outside of the service. The smart dialing capability ensures that the user spends the least when making a call – in most cases absolutely free if both the parties are connected to the service.
Operator neutrality offering more choices to consumers
With MediaRing MobileVoIP, users can enjoy free mobile calls to anyone, anywhere in the world. It does not matter who your mobile operator is.
“The service is not bound to any mobile operator. Mobile VoIP calls are made via MediaRing’s Global IP network, therefore bypassing the traditional mobile network. In a nutshell, MediaRing MobileVoIP offers the best of the GSM and VoIP worlds’ to its users,” Mr. Patel explained.
“In the last couple years, we have seen a significant increase in WiFi penetration, both in homes, business and in public areas. More and more cities and countries are moving towards offering WiFi connectivity to their residents. With such momentum, MediaRing MobileVoIP offers a revolutionary service that empowers mobile consumers with greater flexibility, mobility and most importantly, control. You can now decide how to place and route your local or international calls; benefit from the savings and without compromising your user experience,” Mr. Patel continued.
Very attractive low calling rates
MediaRing MobileVoIP offers a world of low rates to any fixed-line or mobile numbers that are not on the MediaRing MobileVoIP service or not connected to Internet, regardless of the countries where the calls are made from or received.
