SIPphone the makers of Gizmo Project, announced the launch of its web-based VoIP product Gizmo Call, located at
gizmocall.com
. Gizmo Call lets people call any type of landline or mobile, anywhere in the world, from any web browser, for free. No traditional software download and installation is required, just a simple, lightweight Adobe Flash plug-in that works with a web browser. No registration or account setup is required.
Gizmo Call makes it easier than ever to make free long distance calls. It’s an online service that people can use from any web browser. Gizmo Call is a fantastic solution for users calling from internet cafés, kiosks, traveling laptops, as well as from home and work computers. It’s possible to even make calls simply by typing a number into a field in a browser. Users can use urls like: http://gizmocall.com/18005551212.
Gizmo Call offers unprecedented free calling worldwide. Users get five minutes of calling per day to just about any phone number and can double that if they register with an email address. All users can make unlimited free calls to anyone using Gizmo Project, Windows Live Messenger, GoogleTalk, or any SIP device, including Nokia’s N800 internet tablet and N80 wi-fi mobile phones. If they want to make more calls, they can purchase Call Out minutes in $10 dollar increments.
Registered and paid users receive several added benefits. A customizable CallerID allows users to decide whether calls appear to initiate from a mobile or office phone. An interactive Call History lets users make calls with one-click. Registered and paid users can also create a personalized "Call Me" button that can be added to email signatures, blogs, or websites, providing a click-to-call option for friends, family, co-workers or customers.
Gizmo Call is available immediately for Windows and Macintosh operating systems. Linux OS support is expected within 30 days. Gizmo Call works with Internet Explorer, Opera, Firefox, and Safari browsers and requires Adobe Flash 9 to be installed on the computer. Gizmo Call is available now at
gizmocall.com
to the worldwide user population.
