iCore Networks Set to Host Second Annual CXO Summit on VoIP

iCore Networks is proud to announce the upcoming Second Annual CXO Summit on VoIP. Entitled The Future of Voice over IP: What's Coming and How it Will Affect Your Business, the Summit will bring together over 100 leading technology experts and the region's foremost business leaders. With the rapid evolution of VoIP technology and its explosive growth, this event is set to play a key role in setting the footprint for the converging dynamic between the enterprise sector and its increasingly expanding communications needs. The event will be held on October 1st in downtown Washington, DC.

Following the success of last year's inaugural Summit, the 2008 edition of the event will help bridge the knowledge gap between technology and industry experts and the next generation of business VoIP users. Amongst the focal points of discussion, are the virtual workplace and disaster recovery -- which are particularly relevant in the context of the current state of the economy and the growing climate crisis.

With local businesses becoming increasingly susceptible to international competition, harnessing the power of technologies that can make them more competitive is becoming increasingly integral to their long-term success. Today, hosted VoIP technologies offer much more than just the traditional cost-saving benefits that have long drawn small businesses to early adoption. They can provide a multitude of benefits and features that enhance the user experience, support rapid scalability, improve productivity, and increase a company's revenue base.

iCore firmly believes that the only true barrier to the full-scale adoption of Voice over IP technologies is the need for widespread consumer education. As an industry leader in managed services, iCore has taken on the responsibility of increasing awareness about hosted Voice over IP and the value it brings to small and medium enterprises. As part of its community outreach, iCore regularly fosters opportunities for onsite education, business to business dialogue, and participation in events like the upcoming symposium.
