New Mac Intel Version of SightSpeed 4.5 Available Now
SightSpeed
, the award-winning provider of free and premium Internet video and voice communications services (VVoIP and VoIP), announced the release of SightSpeed 4.5 for the new Apple Intel platform.
The new Universal Binary version of SightSpeed 4.5 is fully compatible with Apple's newest line of Macintosh computers based upon the recently introduced line of Intel processors. By taking advantage of the added processing power and faster processing speeds of the new Macs, SightSpeed is able improve upon its already best in class video communications performance.
"Users of the new Intel-based Apples will continue to benefit from something that only SightSpeed offers -- the highest quality and most complete range of video and voice communications that can work with both the previous models of Apple computers and all Windows PCs up through XP," said SightSpeed CEO, Peter Csathy. "This cross platform performance is something that only SightSpeed can deliver to users and owners of the new line of Macs."
SightSpeed 4.5 offers the same award-winning features found in previously released SightSpeed versions, providing real-time two-way video and voice communications over the Internet. SightSpeed enables users to easily send video mail messages, publish user-generated video content to web sites and blogs, as well as locate other community members throughout the world via its innovative new community-based directory. SightSpeed has also added new and enhanced privacy features that are essential once a community directory is established.
"The added power and performance of the new Intel processors greatly enhances the richness of the video and the overall performance that SightSpeed delivers to Mac users," said Aron Rosenberg, Chief Technology Officer of SightSpeed. "By writing this version specifically for the new Intel processors, we have been able to optimize SightSpeed and reduce its demand on resources. All this makes for the best communications experience that users have come to expect from us."
