I live in China. I used iconnecthere for some months and the service was pretty good, say 7 of 10.

After the earthquake off Taiwan a few month ago iconnect has not worked except for one afternoon and then the quality was really poor.

I have not even been able to access their web page or customer service via email.

iconnecthere is now 0 out of 10. AND I STILL HAVE MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT.

I am not happy with them.

Review of iconnecthere.com 9/27/07
1. iconnecthere charges a $29.99 activation fee and then provides $30 of credit.
2. I was told that I'd get a number and be active with my own device in ~20 minutes. Three days later, I'm still waiting for a number and activation. They're blaming the delay on E.911.
3. Try and cancel your account... go ahead, try! There's nothing on the website, customer service keep asking for more time and will not provide contact information for the accounts department.
4. Calling an 877 toll-free number from the US for sales is answered in Israel. Calling the same number for support is answered in another country (India or perhaps Pakistan)

Based on lack of services and bad customer service, I'll rate them 3/10, avoid at all costs.

Have been using the service for couple of months now, and extremely happy. Quality is well (though during high usage of my home network it's a bit problematic) and rates are located low as for the competitors.

Can be canceled anytime - with no fee...
