GalaxyVisions Breaking into the VOIP Markets
GalaxyVisions
announces that a separate segment of their extensive network has been provisioned to cater specifically to VOIP clientele. While most datacenters are geared towards strict data routing, GalaxyVisions has built multiple networks solely for VOIP giving clients connections to most foreign countries in under 10 hops and far under the required 300ms that allows for crystal clear conversations.
With this custom routing from GalaxyVisions, clients can take advantage of excellent call quality for their resellers that rival some of the biggest telco houses around the globe. "GalaxyVisions' VOIP network segment is just about the best I've encountered. Its routing is excellent, providing us extremely low hop counts, no loss of packets and almost no latency. In addition, GalaxyVisions' network engineers and tech support are always there whenever I need them any time of the day or night," says Colin Brown, Director Network Operations at TalkFree, whose mission is to extend affordable telephony through advanced technology to underserved populations in developing countries. All VOIP clients are configured through redundant fail-over networks and power to give them the 100% uptime that is required for such a critical service. "Our VOIP clients who use our datacenter as their main terminating point have experienced extreme growth due to our powerful network that allows worldwide termination around the globe with almost no latency and extremely low hop counts," states Frank Marrapodi, GalaxyVisions' Director of Datacenter Operations. So far 90% of VOIP customers have grown from half rack to over 2 cabinets within just under a year's time due to GalaxyVisions' extremely reliable services.
GalaxyVisions fiber network has been constructed using Tier1 backbone providers with diverse links for optimal redundancy. GalaxyVisions has connectivity presence at major pop locations throughout the tri-state area such as 25 Broadway, 32nd Avenue of Americas, 470 Vanderbilt, 60 Hudson, 111 8th Ave, New York, and 165 Halsey Street, New Jersey. Additionally, GalaxyVisions has created a fiber ring around these major pop locations to provide the highest level of uptime and redundancy. By using BGP4 technology, our state of the art network infrastructure will determine the best available routes from your servers to your host. The rings provide a total of 180Gbps of redundant network connectivity between all our pops. GalaxyVisions is able to utilize its backbone network to provide our clients with direct cross-connects to over 400 IP Transit providers.
GalaxyVisions is also excited to make their debut at the Internal Telecoms Week this May with their own booth. ITW is one of the most reputable wholesale networking platforms for the industry; attracting thousands of voice and data companies each year.
If you interested in colocating in a datacenter customized for your VOIP business, look no further, GalaxyVisions has surpassed most telco houses and even some of the biggest datacenters in the Tri-State area.
