The DR-G250DP is a lightweight neckband headset with a foldable strap mechanism and retractable pipe microphone. Each headset makes a perfect all-in-one solution whether the user is notebook or PC orientated.
The DR-G250DP offers an alternative design headset, with and an adjustable lightweight neckband for a precise and comfortable fit for long lasting wear. The fully retractable pipe microphone is ideal for online multi-player gaming, internet chat or VoIP calls. While the DR-G250DP features a noise cancelling microphone for speech recognition accuracy and maximum signal clarity. The strap folds and collapses for transport and the headset has a 3M cable and weighs just 75g.
A compact hi-quality stereo headset; the DR-EX230DP has a compact 9mm driver unit and is supplied with three sizes of soft silicon ear buds for a stable and comfortable fit for prolonged use. The in-ear headset is the ideal solution for mobile users and achieves quality playback for all those favourite music tracks or calls on the move. The DR-EX230DP is supplied with a travel case, making it easy to transport and store and has a 1.2M cable.
Sony appreciates notebook sales have increased over 20% from 2005 to 2006. “With notebooks designed for mobile working, we have recognised that PC accessories much match this trend in compact design and mobility,” comments Andrew Barrow, Senior Product Manager for PC Accessories, Sony Europe’s IT Peripherals division. “In addition to this, the popularity of internet telephony (VoIP), instant messaging (IM), music downloads, DVD playback and gaming on desktop PCs and notebooks are driving the headset market at double-digit rates. With 70% of the current headphones market dedicated to in-ear type models, we can expect this figure to be replicated by the headset market.”
The Sony DR-G250DP is available now. The Sony DR-EX230DP will be available from late March, 2007
