Koncept Positions Itself in China VoIP Market
Koncept International, Inc.
a VoIP Solutions Enabler recently announced several significant developments. These new efforts enable Koncept to gain early access to the changing VoIP landscape in China, with the goal of the Koncept InfiNET Platform to become one of few selected 'Internet Communications Engines' for authorized Chinese Content Providers.
The Chinese Communications Regulatory Body MII (Ministry of Information Industry) has recently announced VoIP trial's for certain industry segments and to begin deployment of VoIP in four Chinese Cities. Koncept has successfully won the bid for the VoIP trial in cooperation with Shenzhen Telecom in Shenzhen, China.
Simultaneously, and in cooperation with Tianjin Xunlong, a large Chinese ISP, Koncept will trial our VoIP services using Koncept Softphone and other content enabling tools for Chinese Internet Content Providers in line to receive VoIP Licenses from the MII.
Separately, Koncept announces a distribution relationship with Guangzhou Huilong a distributor of Voice/Data solutions to the SME in the province of Guangzhou. This relationship extends our VSP model and will engage Huilong as a 'Mini-VSP' focusing on delivering Koncept SIP Gateways, Netphones and InfiNET Platform Services to the SME.
Koncept also announced the participation in the 'China Blunet Communications Union', a forum of Non-Government Leaders in the Chinese IP Industry, led by Chairman Peter Sun focused on the delivery of VoIP solutions to the Chinese Consumer and SME.
Jeff Holtmeier, EVP/Secretary of Koncept International, Inc., stated, "Our Founder, Deng Peng (George) Kuang's significant position in the Chinese Telecommunications Industry will enable Koncept to penetrate the vast Chinese Market early and efficiently. The legal and regulatory VoIP landscape is changing, while low-cost Broadband penetration is rapidly increasing, providing Koncept with a unique opportunity to leverage our position of strength in China."
