Loaded with everything for the digital connoisseur, the newly released wireless multi-function BlueAnt X5 Stereo Bluetooth Headset is packed with multiple features to stream stereo music from an iPod, mobile phone, PDA, MP3 player or computer as well as taking calls and using voice over internet (VOIP) applications. Sleek, stylish, compact and fully portable, this all-rounder is a must for professionals on the move, gamers and those who want quality stereo streaming in the office, at home or while traveling.
It features Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), a revolutionary new music technology which allows users to send CD quality stereo music from one device to another without using wires.
BlueAnt Wireless General Manager of U.S. Operations, Peter George, says, "The X5 puts a whole new spin on integration between devices, giving you the freedom to use the wireless X5 across a range of applications such as gaming, mobile communication and listening to your favorite tunes."
The X5 can pair with up to 10 devices and also supports Audio Visual Remote Control (AVRCP), Headset and Handsfree profiles and operates easily within a range of 30 feet. It offers 12 hours of talk time and up to 200 hours of standby time.
The X5 also features:
-- An included Bluetooth Audio Streamer capable of streaming wireless music to the X5 from any audio output*.
-- AVRCP Bluetooth profile allows remote control of Windows Media Player, Winamp, WinDVD and other compatible music player applications, using buttons on the X5 Headset.
-- One touch redial/answer function and the ability to answer calls from a mobile phone while listening to music.
-- 3.5mm line-in jack on the audio streamer for connection to iPod, MP3 player or any other audio device with a 3.5mm audio output (cable included in box).
-- A detachable microphone enabling hands-free conversation via your mobile phone or VOIP program.
-- Charging options include two USB cables to plug into PC/Mac as well as an AC charger.
-- A compact removable rechargeable battery which lasts for more than 12 hours.
-- Use the Audio Streamer without a battery by plugging into a USB port.
