JAJAH Unveils VoIP Solutions for Windows Mobile, BlackBerry and Symbian
JAJAH
announces advanced solutions for Windows Mobile, BlackBerry and Symbian. The new services, which enable VoIP calls to be made either via WiFi or over the cellular network, are offered as white label solution to enable carriers and non-carriers to launch the service under their own brand.
The new services follow JAJAH's recent release of a solution that transforms the iPod touch into a fully functioning mobile phone. The company now has tailored solutions for more than 500 million mobile phones, smartphones and other mobile devices worldwide.
JAJAH has pioneered the concept of making high quality, low cost phone calls from any device since it first launched in 2006, including world-first applications for the iPhone and PlayStation portable. It has since opened its back-end platform to allow other companies to launch these services under their own brands.
Enabling carriers to serve all their customers
JAJAH's platform incorporates everything a company would need to launch the service immediately under their own brand. This includes the application itself, plus the entire suite of management services, from termination of the calls and quality control, right through to billing and processing payments in 200 countries around the world.
JAJAH's plug-and-play IP platform is the only service that provides the full suite of services required to develop, deploy and monetize IP communication services anywhere in the world. The JAJAH platform is used by a number of the world's largest companies including Intel, Yahoo! and Comcast, and allows any company to offer value-added-services (VAS) to their customer base with no upfront payment or development work, saving millions for its customers and ensuring partners are prepared for the next generation of service provision.
JAJAH for BlackBerry
The JAJAH application for BlackBerry gives all BlackBerry users the ability to make JAJAH VoIP calls directly from their device. Available as an over the air download, via the desktop manager or from a corporate BES server, the application adds 'JAJAH Call' to the phonebook menu. Simply click on the contact name and select 'JAJAH Call' and the phone call is initiated. Alternatively, users can open the JAJAH application and type in the phone number.
JAJAH for Symbian
Designed for making VoIP calls over a WiFi network, JAJAH for Symbian gives anyone with a phone running Symbian s60 the ability to choose whether their international calls route over the JAJAH IP network or the standard cellular network. The application automatically detects the presence of a WiFi network and offers the choice to use JAJAH when a long distance phone number is dialed (either manually or via the address book).
JAJAH for Windows Mobile
JAJAH for Windows Mobile is a full SIP over HSDPA/WiFi mobile VoIP solution. Currently deployed by eMobile, one of the leading operator's in Japan, the JAJAH solution turns any device into a fully functioning VoIP phone, providing high quality phone-in and phone-out services to and from any phone in the world.
JAJAH continues to develop innovative communications services. In the coming months the company will announce a range of new data communication services, applications and partnerships.
