Lumison Wins at ISPA 2007 Awards ''Best Internet Telephony''
Lumison
, one of the United Kingdom’s most innovative business-class Internet Service Providers last night announced as the winner of the Best Internet Telephony Service at the 2007 ISPA awards amidst stiff competition.
The ISPAs are the UK Internet industry awards presented to people and organisations within the industry by their peers. The prestigious awards recognise and reward the best of the Internet industry and celebrate innovation and best practice, acting as a showcase for the best providers in the sector.
The Best Internet Telephony Service acknowledges excellence of service, something Lumison holds as being of prime importance. “Many businesses and consumers worry about quality of service when implementing VoIP,” said Aydin Kurt-Elli, CEO of Lumison. “We have always addressed this head-on with our customers, ensuring that they get the best possible service. This reward is proof that we have got it right.”
Working with nPlusOne, a wholesale Voice over IP telecommunications provider, Lumison offers SMEs one of the few truly UK-developed hosted IP centrex solutions providing the same sophisticated communications capabilities as larger corporations at an affordable price.
Lumison has always been a pioneer of new and exciting technologies, from delivering one of the first commercial SDSL services in the in 1999, to its hosted iPBX VoIP solutions. As such, the company is particularly pleased to have won this coveted award as it marks the culmination of years of work to successfully integrate the worlds of Internet and telephony, converging traditionally separate industries. Lumison’s entire infrastructure is based on designed and manufactured software and equipment, and the company hopes that this award is proof that it is not necessary to go abroad for the best technology.
Entrants were judged on a number of criteria, on which Lumison received the highest score, including:
Variety and scope of packages
Price and value for money
Number of options available (0845, all area codes and International)
Contract options
Free access to other VOIP networks Value added services for consumers
Time from order to delivery
Support offering and customer care
Modem connection capability
