Enhanced Voice Mail Card For VoIP SMB Systems
Toshiba launches its new Strata CIX voice mail circuit card (LVMU1A), which enhances and expands the auto attendant and voice mail features for its Strata CIX VoIP business communication systems. It can be installed in the Strata CIX100, 200 and 670 systems and is specifically targeted for smaller applications up to 8 ports.
“Toshiba’s new voice mail card was designed with the high-quality standards customers have come to expect from Toshiba. With the new card, Strata CIX SMB users have essential voice mail and auto attendant features as well as advanced functionality in a cost effective, yet reliable platform,” said Ron Hunsaker, senior product manager at Toshiba’s Telecommunication Systems Division. Standard features include the ability to add up to eight voice ports in two-port increments, 40 hours of voice mail storage and support for 360 mailboxes.
New Enhancements Give SMB Users Flexibility and Reliability
Among the many features provided by Toshiba’s new Strata CIX voice mail card are:
Scalability — Up to eight voice ports in versatile two-port increments.
Capacity — 40 hours of available voice storage for user greetings and messages, allowing up to 10,000 total messages. Support for up to 360 user mailboxes.
Ease-of-Use — Fast and easy access to voice messages via Voice Mail LCD Feature Prompting with Soft Key Operation
Increased Productivity — The Call Record feature allows station users to record and store conversations in a voice mailbox by pressing an optionally programmed key on the telephone.
Increased Accessibility — Call Monitor feature allows a station user to listen to callers while they record messages in the voice mailbox and, if desired, retrieve the caller from voice mail in order to continue the conversation.
Adaptability — Bilingual Language Support, including voice prompts and Voice Mail LCD Feature Prompting with Soft Keys. Quick and easy language configuration makes it the right choice for bilingual applications.
Serviceability — On-board remote maintenance modem offers immediate access to programming capabilities instead of requiring a site visit.
Upgradeability — Remote software update and prompt update capability gives dealers an efficient means to update operating software without having to travel to the location for critical maintenance.
Reliability — Embedded Backup and Restore utility stores names, greetings, mailbox numbers, and all other database parameters and diminishes the loss of valuable customer information due to system or power failure.
Ease of Installation — Factory programmed mailboxes (200–217) simplifies basic installation.
