First Standards-Based Firewall and NAT Traversal SDK for VoIP Calls
Eyeball Networks Inc.
, a pioneer and world leader in VoIP, video telephony, and instant messaging software, announced Eyeball Any-FirewallT Engine, a comprehensive, standards-based NAT traversal Software Development Kit (SDK) for guaranteed VoIP call completion across NATs, firewalls, and Web proxies. VoIP service providers, application developers, and device makers can now deliver instant, seamless, and guaranteed connections between subscribers while benefiting from peer-to-peer (P2P) media delivery, low latency, and carrier-grade scalability.
"Our Any-Firewall Engine addresses the critical demand for a scalable NAT and firewall traversal solution, a major catalyst for continued VoIP adoption," stated Chris Piche, Chief Executive Officer, Eyeball Networks. "Today, Skype is the largest VoIP service with a proprietary NAT traversal solution and now with Eyeball Any-Firewall Engine, service providers' benefit from a standards-based solution with guaranteed call completion."
Eyeball's patented Any-FirewallT Technology - the foundation of the Any-Firewall Engine - combines IETF standards STUN, TURN, and ICE, with Eyeball's own innovations enabling P2P media transport, marking the first solution of its kind in the industry. This unique approach addresses the shortcomings of today's traversal alternatives including cost-prohibitive Session Border Controller (SBC) implementations which enhance call completion but do not guarantee it. The Any-Firewall Engine provides a flexible, multi-platform NAT traversal library - with a small footprint - and is independent of signaling protocol and media delivery. This allows it to be used with third-party components including SIP, JINGLE, and RTP stacks and voice/video engines. Today, leading VoIP service providers and device makers including True Internet and Fuji Photo Film have successfully leveraged this technology.
Eyeball Any-Firewall Engine will be released in the fourth quarter of 2006 and will be available for many PC and embedded platforms including Windows 2000, XP & Vista, Windows Mobile, Linux and embedded Linux. Any-Firewall Engine will include a library of software components, sample applications with source code, and user and reference documentation.

Hello,
I checked this site and must to tell that the company is totally unresponsive. That is why I searched for a similar SDK. It is the Ozeki SIP SDK. It is for .Net and seemed to be more flexible for me to implement voip video calls into my application. It is available at voip-sip-sdk.com. The site also offers sample programs that help a lot to start with...
