''Interop Week'' Proclaimed in the City of New York
MediaLive International, Inc., producer of Interop, announced that Michael R. Bloomberg, Mayor of the City of New York, has proclaimed Monday, December 12 - Friday, December 16 "Interop Week" in New York City. Interop New York will take place beginning today through Friday, December 16 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
"Modern technology is fundamentally changing the way we live, and MediaLive International, Inc. is leading the push to integrate the latest developments into everyday life," said Mayor Michael Bloomberg. "It is a pleasure to welcome Interop to New York City. The conference's focus on innovation reflects our citywide commitment to progress on all fronts, whether it is social, cultural, or technological."
This inaugural East Coast Interop event will feature one of the most holistic content and education programs available to the IT market today, and will include the same program features that have made Interop a success for the past two decades. Interop is the only event that showcases a comprehensive set of IT solutions in an interactive environment that highlights the interoperability of the converged network, infrastructure, applications and devices. The Interop New York Exhibition Floor, featuring the Mobile & Wireless Pavilion and VoIP Pavilion, will showcase the latest technology innovations and demonstrate how best to integrate them to build a more reliable and secure IT infrastructure.
For 20 years, Interop has held a unique place in the IP networking and infrastructure markets, and is responsible for fostering the innovation that has fueled the revolution and evolution in IP networking. With network convergence now taking center stage as the key enabler of the latest technology innovations, Interop will continue to show how all the pieces of IT fit together to help organizations serve their customers better and gain a competitive advantage.
