Software for Bridging Cell Phone Calls to VoIP Released

Arcosoft announces the release of VONaLink DialBridge. Directly making a long distance call from a cell phone, especially international, is so expensive that it is unthinkable. Services exist to enable someone to call a local access number, enter the destination number, and then be connected at a cheaper rate. The concept of DialBridge is similar, except that the DialBridge software runs on a home or office personal computer so that any VoIP service could be used, benefiting from the ultra-low cost for long distance VoIP. Tested VoIP providers include Vonage and Callcentric.

Caller authentication is by caller ID or password. Optionally, DialBridge could do a callback so that instead of a long outgoing call from a cell phone, the call is turned into an incoming call, allowing the unlimited incoming minutes of a cell phone plan to be used.

Boingo has signed a roaming agreement with FON that will provide access to an additional 130,000 hot spot locations – more than doubling the company’s network size.

Innovative VoIP Service Launched by ABACash

One of the main advantages of ABACash's new VoIP service is the ease and convenience of use: all that users need to know is how to turn on their PC or mobile phone, and how to click a button and select or type in a phone number. No technical knowledge or settings required whatsoever. Other advantages include high quality 24/7 customer support, no monthly, setup or other hidden fees, and last but not least, competitive pricing. Users pay by the second, for the exact time their phone call lasts (no charging by minute as is common among other VoIP companies)!

ABACash is extremely useful for families, communities, and small to medium-sized companies, because it enables multiple phone accounts to be prepaid using one single account. For example, parents can set up and fund one account and allocate specific amounts of money from their 'master' account to each child's account. The same goes for companies: the company can setup and prepay just one account and give its employees an allowance to use specific amounts of money from the company account.

TalkPlus Introduces Two New Services

talkplus.gifTalkPlus introduces TalkPlus Country Connect and TalkPlus Global, two new services that dramatically reduce the cost of international calls to and from the United States.

TalkPlus Country Connect is a subscription service that gives you access to international phone numbers that ring on the phone of your choice in the US – mobile, home, or work phone. When your friends call that number, they only pay the cost of the local or in-country call and you pay the TalkPlus Country Connect rate of 2.7 cents per minute. Activated in less than 5 minutes, the service features advanced voicemail and carrier-grade voice quality. With no download required, you can sign up immediately online or over the phone.

TalkPlus Global lets you make international calls from your mobile or landline phone. You simply enter your phone number at www.TalkPlus.com, and the number of the person you would like to call. TalkPlus calls you first, then the person you’re calling, connecting you both. Calls are activated on the web, but executed over the regular phone line, so no mobile application is required and call quality is the high level that you expect from your voice carrier. As a prepaid service, there are no contracts, monthly fees, or hidden charges.
