Brightpoint Inc., announced today that its subsidiary, Brightpoint North America L.P. and RTX America Inc., a subsidiary of RTX Telecom have entered into an agreement whereby Brightpoint will distribute RTX devices including the RTX DUALphone. DUALphone is one of the world's first US DECT cordless phone that supports both VoIP "soft-phones" and regular "land line services". The MP3 player has a built-in microphone on its earphone cord, it weighs 24grams (without battery), plays MP3, WMA, ASF, and Ogg (why not Audible?), built-in radio, and a two color screen.
