Cordia Corporation, a global communications service provider, announced that it has closed the acquisition of Triamis Group Ltd. Triamis, based in Hong Kong, owns and operates one of the largest Wi-Fi networks in Hong Kong and markets International VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) service in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Under the terms of the agreement, Triamis' two Executive Directors will become Cordia's APAC Division's Director of Operations and Director of Sales and Business Development.

Microsoft Co. Ltd., SOFTBANK BB Corp., and JAPAN TELECOM CO. LTD., announced that they are developing a security-enhanced, integrated communications service that combines voice over Internet protocol (VoIP), e-mail, Internet access, groupware, presence, instant messaging and desktop services with network infrastructure, and that they have formed a strategic business alliance to provide this service as a business-oriented solution.

Qiao Xing Universal Telephone, Inc. announced that significant progress has been made in its VoIP business, stating that it has secured recent orders from overseas for 200,000 units of VoIP terminal products. The orders were referred to the Company by a VoIP operating company (VoIP Operator) qualified to carry out VoIP telephony in China and abroad. This VoIP operating company has signed an agreement to grant XING the exclusive agency rights for development, production, sales and operation of VoIP telephony terminal products.

General Components Inc., a leading system provider of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) in China, announced that it has entered into an agreement with Beijing CVC Communications Co., Ltd., a major local system contractor, to provide to China Railcom, in a pilot program, over 3,000 lines of GCI's VoIP enterprise system. In addition to standard telephone features, this system contains Internet Protocol PBX and advanced conferencing. GCI will be providing Internet Protocol soft-switch, billing software and technical engineering support for the system.

Qiao Xing Universal Telephone, Inc. announced that it recently obtained from a company qualified to operate VoIP telephony in China and abroad the exclusive agency rights for twelve years of research and development, production, sales and operation of VoIP telephony terminal products and other related products.

As represented, the principal customer orders of this operator of VoIP telephony business come from outside China. Following the large-scale opening-up of the China market for the VoIP business, with its first-mover advantage, this operator is poised to become one of the main operators of VoIP telephony business in China.

Verso Technologies, a leading provider of packet-based solutions, announced today a paid trial of Verso's NetSpective M-Class Solution to filter Skype and other peer to peer (P2P) communications with a Tier-One carrier based in China. The trial is for an initial city level deployment and part of a sale for the fourth quarter of 2005, subject to customer acceptance.

The trial marks the introduction of the NetSpective M-Class with Skype filtering technology, a first of its kind carrier-grade application filter for mobile operators offering a bandwidth optimization and content management tool specifically for the mobile carrier market.

Cordia International Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Cordia Corporation, announced that it has established a Point of Presence in Hong Kong as part of the company's plan to deploy a global VoIP network. Cordia's HK POP will be used to target the Asia Pacific region and will be a core component of the company's international business expansion plans.

CIC's wholly owned Hong Kong subsidiary recently obtained a Public Non-Exclusive Telecommunications Service license from the Office of the Telecommunication Authority, which allows Cordia to deliver external telecommunications services in Hong Kong. Cordia expects to commence marketing services from its Hong Kong POP in November 2005.

BridgePort Networks, the leader in MobileVoIP convergence, and China Unicom, China's second largest mobile operator and the third largest in the world, announced today that technical trials of BridgePort Networks' MobileVoIP convergence solution are underway by China Unicom Telecommunications Corporation's Guangdong Branch.

China Unicom's Guangdong branch will test a Mobile/IP convergence, single identity service, that could ultimately target more than 100 million subscribers through the use of a cellular phone, PC based VoIP soft client, fixed SIP phone, analog telephone adapter and/or dual mode cellular/Wi-Fi mobile phone.

The trial uses BridgePort Networks' open standards based NomadicONE Network Convergence Gateway (NCG) to seamlessly converge China Unicom Guangdong Branch's cellular network with VoIP delivered over their broadband fiber backbone and access networks.
