VoX to Provide Mobile VoIP Services Using Major Wireless Network

logo_VOXlogo_400.jpgVoX has signed an agreement to partner with privately-held Unified Technologies Group to become the first to provide VoIP-enabled service to mobile phone customers across the United States on a tier one cellular carrier network. The renewable contract with UTGI includes take-or-pay provisions for at least 50,000 lines in the first year of service. VoX will provide its high-quality digital voice service to UTGI’s customer base over one of the top-tier mobile networks in the U.S.

VOXOFON's New Application for Calls on Android Mobile Platform

VOXOFON to provide service for the new Android platform built by the Open Handset Alliance. The new service, which offers transparent cost optimization for roaming and international calls, will be available for use on Android phones when they become available later this year.

Beginning at 1.3 cents per minute, with no additional fees, VOXOFON international calling services allow customers to call using their computer, their land line, their cell phone or a smart phone. The company already offers an iPhone web application with a familiar user interface and a way to manage contacts, with no downloading or installation.

Rebtel Partners with easyGroup to Offer Mobile VoIP Services

Under the agreement, Rebtel-powered services for making low cost international phone calls from any mobile phone, over any UK network, will be sold and marketed on easyGroup's web site.

Rebtel's mobile VoIP services offered by easyMobile are compatible with any mobile phone without modification, quick to set-up, and work with consumers' existing contracts with their UK operators. Terms of the brand license agreement between easyGroup and Rebtel were not disclosed.
